- Civil war 2:8-32
It’s not surprising David was anointed king of Judah.
Only one tribe acknowledge him as king – Judah.
David had many qualifications that made him an obvious choice:
1. A good reputation as a soldier,
2. A history of helpful actions towards Judah,
3. He was politically savvy,
4. He was from Judah,
5. God was clearly with him!
